Philippe MacKay

Philippe MacKay is a mining engineer and executive with extensive experience in project development, operations, engineering and permitting. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Fokus Mining Corporation from October 2024 until its acquisition by Cadillac Mines in April 2026.

Prior to Fokus, Mr. MacKay spent nearly a decade with the Osisko Group, most recently as Mine Manager for the Cariboo Gold Project. In this role, he managed operations, engineering and permitting while supporting community relationships and advancing the project from exploration through the final stages of permitting and development. Mr. MacKay holds a Diploma in Mining Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and an MBA from the Ivey Business School, combining strong technical expertise with business and operational leadership.
